TAN SHING WIN

Tan Shing Win represented Malaysia at the 2026 World Barista Championship with One Half Coffee Roastery. His first appearance as a world championship competitor took him to second place in the final in Panama City. He won the 2025 Malaysia Barista Championship with 700 points, after finishing second in the 2023 final. In his 2026 organiser profile, he describes nearly six years in coffee and work spanning One Half and green-coffee company Tri-Up, from sourcing and trading to the finished drink. He was also named among the partners behind One Half's Petaling Jaya roastery when it opened in 2023. His career connects the work at origin with the choices a barista makes at the counter.
