Switzerland’s new champions in barista, brewing, coffee cocktails, cup tasting, latte art and roasting — every final in finishing order, and where each finalist works.
News ·
The titles were decided at the Swiss Coffee Festival at StageOne in Zürich on 31 October and 1 November 2026; the roasters competed before it, from 29 to 31 October, at Rose Coffee Roasters. The champions represent Switzerland at the World Coffee Championships in 2027 — in Tokyo, Lisbon, Bogotá and New Orleans (the organiser’s results).
Below, every final in finishing order and where each finalist works, linked where the place is on Good Cup. A workplace is named only where the person’s own profile, the organiser or the place itself says it. Know where a finalist works and we don’t? Tell us.

Matt Winton — World Brewers Cup Champion in 2021 and twice Sweden’s barista champion — is now Switzerland’s. He owns Rose Coffee Roasters in Zürich. Second was Emi Fukahori, World Brewers Cup Champion in 2018 and co-founder of MAME; third, George Manuel of Maillardos Kaffeerösterei in Rheineck; fourth, Tobias Seewer-Sheikh of Café EinzigArtig in Arlesheim. Next: the World Barista Championship in Tokyo, 28 April – 1 May 2027.

Kostas Kontodimas, second a year ago, took the title with his filter coffee. He works at Lamassu in Zürich. Lucas Abadie of Bel-Air Coffee in Lausanne was second and Dina Gkritzapi third; Carlos Dennis of Savora Café in Zug was fifth. Next: the World Brewers Cup in Bogotá, 30 September – 2 October 2027.

Suki Ma of MAME defended her coffee-cocktail title; she has also won the Swiss Brewers Cup twice. Linda Klemm, barista at Daniska in Basel and at Roastery Engelberg, was second again, and Giuseppe Ciccone third. Deborah Böhm of Kraftwerk and Miran Rasiti, head of coffee at Cafe Maxmo, both in Zürich, were sixth and seventh. Next: the World Latte Art Championship in Lisbon, 17–19 June 2027.
