Your choice

PostHog analytics is optional and off before you choose. “Accept only necessary” keeps optional analytics off; “Accept all” enables it. Essential storage stays active with either choice and does not require consent. Use “Cookie settings” on any page to change or withdraw your choice by switching Analytics on or off and saving your preferences. Your choice applies to this browser for up to 180 days. Clearing site storage removes it. Declining analytics does not prevent use of Good Cup.

Storage used to provide the service

goodcup.analytics-consent: local storage of your choice, time and consent version, used for up to 180 days.
gcc-auth and related Supabase entries: local storage for signed-in sessions and refreshing authentication. Signing out removes the local session; account deletion is separate.
Pending sign-in information: the email requesting a link, stored locally to prevent login substitution. Accepted for one hour and cleared when the sign-in flow consumes it. An abandoned entry may remain until a later sign-in or site-data removal.
goodcup.map.lastView: session storage of the last map position, normally lasting for the browser tab.
gcc_demo: access to the private review version, up to 30 days; not an analytics consent.

Optional PostHog analytics

After consent, a ph_…_posthog cookie and local/session storage identify the browser and session. The cookie lasts up to 180 days and can refresh during use. Session entries follow the browser session; local entries remain until cleared, including when you reject analytics. Good Cup requests a new choice after 180 days even if provider identifiers still exist.

Analytics can include pages, searches, interactions and your account identifier when signed in. Session replay and automatic click capture are disabled; the app sends named interaction events. Rejecting or withdrawing stops further PostHog collection and clears its browser storage. Earlier server-side events are not automatically erased; you can request erasure through the Privacy Policy contact.

Mapbox maps

Mapbox loads when you open a map screen and receives network and map request information. It uses local entries beginning mapbox.eventData, including a random identifier, for service measurement and billing. These can remain until you clear site data. The PostHog choice does not switch off Mapbox requests or measurement. Good Cup does not request precise device GPS location.
